Written by anders@thinque.com.au | September 29, 2015
This is the second part of my futurist keynote where I talk about digital disruption in the hospitality and travel industry. Check out the first part here - Futurist Keynote: Digital In The Hospitality Industry (1/2)

Here I talk about digital mobilized interfaces, personalized localized knowledge and Digilogue which is the convergence between the analogue and the digital.

Urban Compass is an organisation that are disrupting the real estate industry. They have created an app that enables its users to search thousands of listings in New York City, Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia and as a user you can filter your search after the criterias that matters the most to you. Furthermore the app helps you to keep track of the places you have visited and it integrates with their website compass.com. Urban Compass have successfully created not just an app, but a digital mobilized interfaces that is truly helpful for the customer.

What makes companies like AirBnB and Urban Compass so successful is how they share personalized localized knowledge. They do it by offering the right content at the right time to the right person and therein they are also bringing the analogue and the digital together. This way of creating relevant, helpful and inspirational content is also very much aligned with the inbound methodology which you can read more about here - Insights from HubSpot's marketing conference #Inbound15
