In the electrical utilities industry we can see that online sales of industrial products are growing at a rate that is twice as high as the traditional sales methods. At the same time 40% of the top 200 electrical wholesalers websites still don't offer e-commerce. These digital trends are ofcourse creating disruptive changes for the industry and many organisations are facing tough challenges ahead.
Many companies in this industry are at a cross roads where they have to decide if they want to embrace digital or continue doing business as the always have done. The latter alternative is not a desirable one if you want your business to be healthy, prosperous and ready for an increasingly digital future.
