Today's music industry is dominated by iTunes, Spotify and other streaming services. We no longer need to pay for ownership of the music we want to listen to, we only need to pay for access to it. The subscription model have been a game changer for the music industry and more recently for the movie- and television establishment with the likes of Netflix, HBO Now and Amazon. However, during the last six years we have seen a dramatic increase of the sales of LP records. Now you may ask yourself why is vinyl making a comeback in today's modern age where most of us consume content digitally and on-demand?

To answer this question you can first ask yourself: do I remember my first digital download? Most of us don't, this is because it happened at a fleeting moment in time. Vinyl records on the other hand is something physical that connects with our analogue hearts and on top that of the format also has a vintage 'feel' and unique analogue sound that you simply don't get from digital music.
